Kristin: Hello, myDead End-friend! I am very curious if you like this wonderful story, too? Okay, that was a little joke. I think it is sooooo exciting that you cannot stop reading it. Did you immediately think that Dr. Sutton was the murderer? I did not. At first I thought Mrs. Snell had committed the murder. She works at a chemist's, you know? She is so mysterious. She did not tell the truth when the policeman asked her about the night of the murder. Hm ... I think I will read the book again. You, too? Okay, hope you will write me back soon. Bye, bye your D-E-friend.

Sibylle: Hello, Dead-End-Fan! First I have thought that Dead End wouldn't be a very exiting story, but then I have been looking forward to the end. At the beginning of the story I believed that Mrs Townsend could be the murderer because she wasn't very depressed about the death of her husband. She wanted to hide her relation to Mr Reynolds and so she didn't tell the policeman the truth about Thursday evening. But I have never expected that Dr. Sutton could be the murderer and that's why I have been very surprised about the end. Do you like the end? Bye, bye!

Kristin: Hello Mrs. Dead-End! Oh, it is a great pity that you don't like this story much. It is really difficult to understand - sometimes. Yes, I like the end - SUICIDE - that is a very clear end. I like clear ends because you must think so much about indistinct ends. You think: How can the story end? Will I like it? Oh no, why do you want to read this interesting story again ... okay, this normal story again? No pleasure to read it again? Let's talk about the suspects. Okay? Who are the suspects? Tell me, what do you think. See you soon - the FAN!

Sibylle: Good morning! The end which I expected: The policeman would find out at the end that Mrs Townsend is the murderer. He would arrest her and she would have to stay in the prison for many years.....But I wasn't right. I don't want to read the story again because I believe I remember all important facts. Bye Bye.
