Great Stapleton has many shops. Most of them, like the supermarkets and the butcher’s, are located in the central part (sometimes jokingly called the city). The delicatessen shop is of course the pride of Great Stapleton.

Next to the baker’s, there is the new "Royal  Cinema", which brought a little bit of glamour into the town. 

But the definitely most interesting shop in Great Stapleton is the chemist’s being owned by Mrs. Snell. No matter what kind of rumour you hear, you can be sure, that the centre of it is at the chemist’s.
